SHOWQUEST PRACTICES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Wednesday Lunchtime: Full cast in the Hall. Please come dressed in PE gear and ready to start straight after sit down eating

Friday:

Lunchtime: Full cast. Please meet in the PAC so that you can change into your costumes for our after lunch dress rehearsal.
AFTER LUNCH: Come straight to the hall after lunchbreak with your school bags. The afternoon roll will be taken for all Showquest cast and crew in the hall after lunch break.
Block 3: Full cast and Crew. DRESS REHEARSAL. Performers please bring ALL clothing and footwear from home that is listed on the information notice.

WEEK 3

HAWKE'S BAY DANCE FESTIVAL AUDITIONS!!!!

I will be running auditions during week 5, Monday-Thursday for ākonga who are interested in being in a competitive dance team at the Dance Fest. Maximum of 30 people (2-3 teams), by audition only.

HB Dance Festival 2024

Monday 2nd September

Week 7 Term 3

For your audition you will need to choreograph no longer than 1 chorus of a song. Original choreo please. You can audition solo, duo or in a group. You can select any genre you like, except for tap (the comp is on a carpet floor). I'll be looking for creativity, interesting music, think of something unique. I'll be looking for strong technique, loads of energy and strong presentation.

Rehearsals for this will run every Friday, block 3, during Enrichment learning time.

No need to register your interest. Just turn up when I call for you in week 5.

There will be a small cost involved to cover entry and expenses, payable on registration to the event.

Please make sure you have your stick, shinpads and mouthguard ready to go. If you can't make your practice, please let your team's coach or manager know.

Red Team- Tuesdays 3:30- 4:15pm with Connor

Mixed 2nd Team- Thursdays 3.30-4.30pm with Jacqui. Start 9th May.
